The Public Christian Schools in Chile are managed and operated through a non-profit foundation called Fundacion de Educacion Chistiana Bethel. The Foundation has its own bylaws and Board. The Board is responsible to Ministries of Love Inc., and the Chilean Department of Education in all of their activities. Although school superintendents, administrators, teachers and staff receive payment for their services, Foundation board members serve with their time, energy and leadership without complaint or remuneration. We are truly indebted for their unselfish service.
The Foundation oversees the academic, financial and spiritual needs of the schools. The Chilean government is involved in the educational needs of all Chilean school children and through a per-student payment system, the Foundation receives monthly government monies to fund "a portion" of teacher salaries, school materials and related expenses. Any additional monies needed for administration, Christian education curriculum, school equipment, buildings, etc. must come from sources outside the Chilean government. The resolve of the board is to continue to work in the field of education so that many children will receive an excellent academic and Christian education in an environment free of drugs, guns and violence
Christian education is of top priority in each school. A program called "A Bible for Each Student" makes it possible for each student to have their own personal Bible to be used in the classroom, and at home. It is the desire of Ministries of Love and the Foundation Board that all students know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord.
